An electric guitar with Floyd Rose for wild dives.

The ESP LTD George Lynch GL-200 electric guitar draws from the early days of ESP’s artist collaborations, when George Lynch became one of the company’s first signature artists in the mid-1980s. Known for his explosive playing with Dokken and his influential solo work, Lynch helped define an era of aggressive yet articulate guitar tone. The LTD GL-200 distills that legacy into a streamlined performance-focused instrument built for speed and control. Designed around a 25.5" scale length with bolt-on construction, it pairs a basswood body with a thin U-shaped maple neck to deliver a fast comfortable feel that responds immediately to dynamic playing.

ESP Pickup Pairing With Broad Tonal Range

The GL-200 is equipped with an ESP LH-150B humbucker in the bridge position and an ESP LS-120 passive single-coil in the neck. This combination delivers a wide range of usable tones, moving from tight aggressive distortion to clear articulate clean sounds. The bridge humbucker provides punch and clarity for high-gain riffing and lead work while the neck single-coil adds warmth and definition for expressive phrasing and cleaner passages.

Floyd Rose Special Tremolo for Expressive Control

A Floyd Rose Special double-locking tremolo bridge gives the GL-200 the tuning stability required for dive bombs, pull-ups and wide vibrato techniques. The locking nut and bridge system keep tuning secure under heavy use, allowing players to explore extreme pitch manipulation without sacrificing intonation. This setup supports the kind of expressive tremolo work closely associated with George Lynch’s playing style.

Thin U-Shaped Neck Built for Speed

The thin U-shaped maple neck is designed for fast fretwork and precise control, offering a comfortable grip that supports extended playing sessions. A rosewood fingerboard with 22 extra-jumbo frets provides a smooth forgiving surface for bends, vibrato and rapid runs. The reverse hockey stick headstock nods to Lynch’s original Kamikaze-era designs while maintaining balanced string tension and response.

Lightweight Body and Reliable Hardware

The basswood body keeps the instrument lightweight and resonant, helping reduce fatigue during long rehearsals or performances. Bolt-on construction ensures a solid neck-to-body connection while preserving a snappy attack. Matching hardware, including dependable tuners and the Floyd Rose bridge, is selected for consistent performance and long-term reliability.

An ESP LTD Electric Guitar Inspired by a True Guitar Icon

The ESP LTD George Lynch GL-200 electric guitar is built for players who connect with Lynch’s legacy of precision, aggression and expressive control. Its fast neck, versatile pickup configuration and stable tremolo system make it a strong choice for hard rock and metal players who value articulation speed and reliability. Designed to honor a defining chapter in ESP’s history, the LTD GL-200 delivers performance-driven playability with unmistakable visual attitude.
