The sound of the '60s in a vintage-style design.
The Fender Custom Shop ’63 Precision Bass Journeyman Relic takes you back in time with classic, all-American sound in a vintage Fender package. The ’63 Precision Bass Journeyman features a 2-piece select alder body, quartersawn maple neck and round-lam rosewood fingerboard with vintage clay dot inlays. It’s been finished with nitrocellulose lacquer to let the body breathe, and to develop age and wear in a one-of-a-kind fashion. The Custom Shop hand-wound ’62 Precision Bass bridge pickup has been specially voiced to deliver that familiar, iconic Fender sound. Additional appointments include vintage-style tuners, a 4-saddle vintage-style bridge, nickel and chrome hardware, medium-jumbo frets and a bone nut. Comes with a deluxe hardshell case, strap and certificate of authenticity.
