It celebrates the 15th anniversary of Guitar Center Platinum, which houses the most exquisite instruments in our collection. Double-bound and finished in Aged Silver Sparkle, this Tele is an instant ticket to the Bakersfield sound. As a Journeyman Relic, every element has been authentically aged, from the beautiful nitrocellulose checking down to the rusted bridge screws, a byproduct of endless gigs at dive bars and sweat-soaked stages.

The ’63 Tele neck pickup provides rich, vintage single-coil sounds. It pairs with a Twisted Tele in the bridge that is wound slightly hotter—you'll even hear a touch of sparkling Strat tones. Both are handwound and relic'd in the Custom Shop.

Guitar Center spec'd a roasted, quartersawn maple neck topped with a painted headcap; the fretboard is AAA rosewood. This Custom Shop ’63 Telecaster comes with a certificate of authenticity, engraved limited-edition neck plate and a deluxe hardshell case.
