The Gibson Custom Mike Ness 1976 Les Paul Deluxe electric guitar is a stunning, smooth-playing instrument inspired by Ness's own modified 1976 Les Paul Deluxe. A self-described "Gibson guy," Ness is a producer, musician and lead guitarist, vocalist and songwriter for the legendary punk band Social Distortion. The Mike Ness 1976 Les Paul Deluxe comes equipped with a 3-piece maple neck, a 2-piece plain maple top and a mahogany/maple/mahogany back. The stock mini humbuckers have been replaced by P-90s, which Mike prefers. The Goldtop finish has been expertly aged by the artisans of the Murphy Lab to match Mike's original, and it even includes the Orange County, Clay Smith Cams Mr. Horsepower and I Voted stickers. Only 100 guitars will be built in this highly limited run by the luthiers and craftspeople of the Gibson Custom Shop in Nashville, Tennessee.
