Metal-focused electric with dual Fishman humbuckers and voicing switch.
The Prestige RGD3121 from Ibanez is an ultimate metal machine that meets the demands of down-tuning for a specifically designed responsiveness not found in "normal" guitars. To optimize for the rich, desirable thickness of tone that down-tuning produces, the neck has been extended by one inch to a 26.5" scale. Longer than standard yet not overly long, the neck is still considered a "fast" neck for speed soloing. Extra-deep cutaways grant comfortable access to the neck's highest notes.
The Prestige RGD3121 is built with a basswood body paired to a Wizard HP maple/wenge neck and ebony fretboard for tight lows and mids, along with a strong attack in the highs. Fishman Fluence Modern humbuckers provide aggressive tone and a powerful attack without excess noise, while a Mono-rail bridge provides both stability and sustain. Plus, a Fishman Fluence voicing switch allows the pickups to switch from a modern, active high-output sound to a crisp, clean and fluid sound.
A hardshell case is included for portable protection between gigs.
