The Jackson X Series Soloist SLX is built for shredding—if fast riffage is your thing, this one is packed with all the features you're looking for. It has a lightweight basswood body and a 1-piece maple neck-thru design with a Jackson Speed profile. The 12"-16" compound radius laurel fingerboard has 24 jumbo frets for easy chording and smooth, buzz-free bending on the upper frets. The Soloist SLX gets a powerful voice from Duncan Designed HB-103 humbuckers, with a smooth alnico version in the neck and a high-output ceramic version in the bridge position. The final touch is a Floyd Rose Special double-locking tremolo system for stable tuning and smooth, dynamic tremolo action with plenty of sustain. Case sold separately.
