Powerful 3600W column PA system with integrated 8-channel digital mixing, cardioid coverage and professional DSP control.

When the performance demands powerful sound, precise control and the flexibility to manage every instrument onstage, the right PA system can transform the entire production. The LD Systems MAUI 44 G3 MIX powered column PA system combines 3600W peak power, a fully active four-way speaker architecture and an integrated eight-channel digital mixer in a streamlined solution for solo performers, duos, bands and event professionals. A high-output 15" neodymium subwoofer delivers bass extending down to 34Hz, while 14 neodymium 3.5" midrange drivers and four 1" compression drivers provide articulate vocals, detailed instrumentation and crisp highs. Delivering up to 133dB maximum SPL with a controlled 120° horizontal by 25° vertical dispersion pattern, the system provides substantial headroom and wide audience coverage. Its passive cardioid column design reduces rearward sound radiation by up to 18dB, helping minimize stage spill, while DynX DSP Gen. 2 processing helps maintain controlled output at high volume levels. With eight XLR/TRS combo inputs, onboard effects, wireless app control, Bluetooth streaming and SysLink stereo connectivity, the MAUI 44 G3 MIX brings sound reinforcement and digital mixing capabilities together in one system.

Four-Way Amplification and Precision Drivers Deliver Powerful Full-Range Sound

The MAUI 44 G3 MIX uses a fully active four-way architecture with dedicated amplification and driver groups to reproduce each frequency range with precision and control. Its 15" neodymium woofer delivers substantial low-frequency output, supported by airflow-optimized bass reflex ports that reduce turbulence and unwanted port noise at high volume. The two-piece column houses 14 neodymium 3.5" midrange drivers and four 1" compression drivers, with horn-loaded lower midrange drivers providing increased efficiency, headroom and vocal projection. Phase plugs and BEM-optimized waveguides in the upper column help distribute midrange and high-frequency energy across the listening area. Delivering 1800W RMS and 3600W peak power, the Class-D amplifier produces up to 133dB maximum SPL, while crossover points at 200Hz, 700Hz and 1,800Hz maintain smooth transitions between driver sections. DynX DSP Gen. 2 processing incorporates peak, RMS and thermal limiters to help maintain controlled output during demanding live performances.

Eight-Channel Digital Mixing Provides Complete Performance Control

The integrated eight-channel digital mixer gives performers and sound engineers the flexibility to manage multiple audio sources without relying on a separate mixing console. Eight XLR/TRS combo inputs accommodate microphones, instruments and line-level devices, with six microphone preamps supporting vocal and instrument microphones for live performances. Onboard effects provide additional sound-shaping options, while a footswitch connection allows hands-free effects control during a set. Four monitor outputs enable flexible monitoring configurations for performers, and a dedicated system output supports additional signal routing. An integrated color display provides direct access to mixer settings and system functions, while the MAUI MIX app for iOS and Android allows wireless adjustments from a compatible smartphone or tablet. Bluetooth audio streaming adds convenient playback for backing tracks, intermission music and other wireless audio sources, making the system a practical centerpiece for live bands, solo acts and event productions.

Cardioid Dispersion and Expandable Subwoofer Options Optimize Audience Coverage

The MAUI 44 G3 MIX is engineered to direct sound toward the audience while reducing unwanted energy behind the system, making it particularly useful for stages where microphones, performers and loudspeakers operate in close proximity. Its passive cardioid column design provides up to 18dB of rear attenuation between 100Hz and 1kHz, helping minimize stage spill. The controlled 120° x 25° dispersion pattern distributes sound across a wide audience area while limiting unnecessary vertical coverage. For applications requiring additional low-frequency control, a second MAUI 44 G3 subwoofer can be positioned facing backward and operated with the Cardioid preset to reduce bass energy behind the system. Alternatively, positioning the second subwoofer forward provides up to 6dB of additional low-frequency sound pressure for performances demanding greater bass output. These optional configurations allow engineers to tailor the system to different venues, stage layouts and audience requirements.

SysLink Stereo Connectivity and Wireless Control Expand Mixing Flexibility

For larger performances and productions requiring additional input capacity, SysLink connectivity allows two MAUI 44 G3 MIX systems to operate together in stereo while providing centralized control over all 16 mixer channels. This integrated approach simplifies management of multiple microphones, instruments and playback sources across both systems, making it easier to build more elaborate live sound configurations without introducing a separate mixing console. The MAUI MIX app provides remote access to mixer and system settings, allowing engineers to make adjustments while moving throughout the venue and listening from different audience positions. The onboard color display remains available for direct control at the system, while Bluetooth streaming provides an additional wireless audio source for music playback. Combined with flexible monitor outputs, onboard effects and comprehensive input connectivity, these features allow the MAUI 44 G3 MIX to adapt to performances requiring coordinated stereo sound reinforcement.

Rugged Construction and Cable-Free Assembly Keep Productions Moving

Despite its substantial output and integrated mixing capabilities, the MAUI 44 G3 MIX retains the straightforward setup and transport advantages of the MAUI column system family. The two-piece aluminum column connects to the subwoofer without external speaker cables, while automatic column detection helps streamline system configuration. Four ergonomic handles on the subwoofer and recessed carrying handles in the column sections make lifting and positioning easier during load-in and teardown. The subwoofer features a birch plywood enclosure with a protective polyurea coating, while powder-coated aluminum columns provide durability for frequent professional use. Its column design helps minimize the stage footprint compared with conventional loudspeaker configurations, while the integrated mixer reduces the need for additional equipment in many applications. From live bands and mobile entertainment to corporate events and venue installations, the LD Systems MAUI 44 G3 MIX powered column PA system combines high-output sound reinforcement, flexible digital mixing and efficient handling.
