This beautiful cello features Parisian eye ebony fittings and a Wittner tailpiece and a fully hand-carved seasoned spruce top with flamed curly maple back and sides that have been dried for four to five years. This cello is conceivably a beginner's instrument and is available in full or abbreviated sizes for that reason. However, it is truly aimed at the advancing student, as it has features rarely found in student instruments. The decorative appointments instill a pride of ownership and personal touch that will surely inspire practice and improvement. The craftsmanship in this instrument combined with D'Addario Helicore strings and hand-applied spirit and oil mixed varnish make it beautiful both to behold and to hear.
