This MEINL Sonic Energy Harmonic Art Handpan is a handmade percussion instrument, crafted one at a time using top-grade German steel. MEINL chose this material for both its ability to be worked by hand and its strength to hold precise tuning. Each handpan is tuned with a center note and seven additional notes. This model is tuned to D#, G#, A#, B, C#, D#, F#, G#. The eight notes allow the player to work within a musical scale, both as a solo instrumentalist and with a group.

This model comes in a simple black finish. It includes a matching protective cover made from light steel, plus a heavy-duty nylon carrying bag with grips and backpack straps. The bag has a synthetic fur interior for extra protection.
