At the heart of the DN4816-O is the groundbreaking StageConnect interface. It lets you transmit up to 32 channels of pristine 24-bit digital audio over a single XLR cable. StageConnect even handles bidirectional transmission, MIDI and up to 18W of power over the same cable. Connect the DN4816-O to your Midas Wing console or other StageConnect gear like the HUB4 for expanded I/O options. The system auto-configures routing when you connect devices, but you can also manually configure using the SSC Tool software.
Get 16 Balanced Outputs With Flexible Connectivity
The DN4816-O puts 16 balanced XLR outputs under your control. Send signals anywhere you need them on stage or in the studio. For example, connect in-ear transmitters to the DN4816-O and run mixes from the console without using up local outputs. The DN4816-O provides a clean, reliable signal to feed monitors. You can also use the 16 outputs as extra outputs from the console to side fills or other destinations. With all that connectivity, the DN4816-O fits perfectly into your workflow.
Integrate Seamlessly With AIR Mixers via ULTRANET
In addition to StageConnect, the DN4816-O includes an ULTRANET input. This lets you connect compatible Midas AIR series mixers and route up to 16 channels of digital audio to the unit. ULTRANET uses a single Cat5e cable for easy integration with zero latency. Combining ULTRANET and StageConnect, you can build a powerful and flexible audio ecosystem on stage or in the studio.
Easily Expand Your System by Daisy-Chaining
Need more I/O? You can easily add units as required. Just daisy-chain multiple DN4816-O interfaces using StageConnect. The system will auto-configure routing between the units. Daisy chaining lets you scale up inputs and outputs for any size production or session. Whether you need a couple of extra outputs or a full 32-in/32-out stagebox, the DN4816-O has you covered.
Hassle-Free Setup With Automatic Configuration
The DN4816-O couldn't be easier to set up. Just connect it into your StageConnect network and it will automatically configure routing and channel assignments. The DN4816-O negotiates channels intelligently based on the overall system configuration. You can also manually configure routing using the SSC Tool app. Power the unit via the included DC adapter or receive power through StageConnect at up to 18W per unit.
