The Musser MUS116 is a single-step birch-handled marimba mallet with a tan yarn head. It features a round mallet core, which contributes to its balanced, comfortable feel. It is a yarn-covered mallet that is plenty soft enough for wooden bars, in fact leaning toward being appropriate for ballad and softer passages.
