A simple device for complex workflows with envelope control, LFO control and snapping to preset positions.
The Old Blood Noise Endeavors MIDI to Expression Translator is a simple device for complex workflows. Old Blood Noise unveiled the MTET utility device after realizing matching gaps in the market and their friends’ workflows. The MTET receives MIDI CC messages and turns them into expression outputs, allowing players to unlock MIDI control over their expression-enabled devices. Where once there was only a foot, now there’s envelope control, LFO control, snapping to preset positions—any MIDI shape can express an OBNE (or similar) device.
Old Blood Noise Endeavors began in 2014 in a backyard shed in Norman, Oklahoma. Starting with the
Black Fountain Oil Can Delay, their lineup now includes more than 25 devices, not only to help
musicians explore previously unheard sounds but to tackle utilitarian tasks like cable routing. Their
goal is to create innovative designs to inspire all creatives to find and use their own unique voice.
