Rated at 8 ohms, the Archon 2x12 is built for demanding stage, studio and rehearsal use, with rugged construction designed to stand up to regular transport. Available in classic Black or limited-edition Black Paisley, it pairs purposeful performance with unmistakable PRS style.

Closed-Back Plywood Construction Delivers Punch and Tight Lows

The Archon 2x12 uses rugged plywood construction and a closed-back design to produce a focused response with substantial punch and controlled low end. The enclosed cabinet helps keep bass frequencies tight and defined, providing a solid foundation for rhythm work while maintaining clarity as distortion increases. Dual 12" speakers provide strong projection and a full, room-filling response suited to rehearsals, recording sessions and live performance. At 25.25" wide, 21.6" high and 11" deep, the cabinet weighs 49.6 lb. and is built to handle the demands of regular stage and studio use.

Dual Celestion V-Types Deliver Balanced, Articulate Tone

PRS selected Celestion V-Type speakers for their ability to maintain a balanced tonal signature across the Archon's broad range, with two 12" drivers providing a combined 140W of power handling. Clean sounds remain clear across the lows, mids and highs, with upper-mid chime and high-frequency sparkle adding definition, while driven tones gain warmth and body through the midrange as saturation increases. The 8-ohm cabinet pairs that versatile speaker response with the punch and focus of its closed-back enclosure. Together, the dual V-Types and rugged plywood construction give the PRS Archon 2x12 a powerful, articulate voice with the depth, definition and tonal range to anchor demanding stage and studio rigs.
