Bring the full range of Archon tone to life with the PRS Archon 1x12, a compact 70W cabinet loaded with a Celestion V-Type speaker for balanced response from sparkling cleans to saturated high gain. Closed-back plywood construction adds punch and tight low-end response, giving clean passages a solid foundation while keeping heavier rhythm tones focused and defined. Rated at 16 ohms, the cabinet provides a straightforward match for compatible amp heads, while its compact dimensions and 26 lb. weight make it easy to incorporate into stage, studio and rehearsal rigs. Limited-edition Black Paisley covering and salt-and-pepper grille cloth complete the Archon 1x12 with distinctive retro-inspired style.

Closed-Back Plywood Construction Delivers Punchy Response and Tight Lows

The Archon 1x12 pairs rugged plywood construction with a closed-back cabinet design for a focused response with plenty of punch and controlled low end. That tight foundation helps preserve definition as gain increases, giving rhythm work weight without allowing the bottom end to become overly loose or diffuse. At 24" wide, 18" high and 10.5" deep, the cabinet maintains a relatively compact footprint, while its 26 lb. weight makes it practical to move between rehearsals, sessions and performances.

Celestion V-Type Stays Balanced From Clean to High Gain

PRS selected the 12" Celestion V-Type for its ability to maintain a balanced tonal signature across the Archon's broad range. Clean sounds remain clear across the lows, mids and highs, with upper-mid chime and high-frequency sparkle adding definition, while driven tones gain warmth and body through the midrange as saturation increases. Rated for 70W at 16 ohms, the V-Type provides ample capacity for compatible amp heads without sacrificing its balanced response. Together with the cabinet's punchy closed-back construction, it gives the PRS Archon 1x12 a focused, articulate voice with the depth and versatility to complement a wide range of playing styles and setups.
