Compact semi-hollow response with humbuckers and tremolo

Semi-hollow construction gives Reverend's Kingbolt platform a more resonant response while retaining the compact proportions and familiar controls of a dual-humbucker electric guitar. The Reverend Kingbolt Air HH semi-hollow electric guitar combines a routed mahogany body and full-length center block with a solid spruce top, 25.5" roasted maple neck, roasted maple fingerboard, dual Steelhead humbuckers, passive Bass Contour and a Wilkinson WVS50 IIK tremolo. For players who want semi-hollow depth, familiar HH control and expressive vibrato in a streamlined instrument, the Kingbolt Air HH brings those elements together without overcomplicating the playing experience.

Mahogany and Spruce Open Up the Kingbolt Body

A solid mahogany slab is routed around a full-length center block before the body is capped with solid spruce. The semi-hollow chambers add resonance around a substantial center block that supports the pickups and tremolo, keeping the Kingbolt compact and familiar in the hands. The combination adds an acoustic dimension to the body while retaining its practical solidbody-style proportions.

Steelhead Humbuckers Add Range Without Extra Switching

Steelhead humbuckers cover the bridge and neck positions with oversized steel poles and the punch, clarity and dynamic response Reverend specifies for the design. A three-way selector keeps pickup changes immediate, while the passive Bass Contour provides a second way to reshape the pair by rolling off low frequencies. Backed down, it can tighten the humbuckers and move them toward a leaner, more single-coil-like response; opened up, it leaves more of their natural low-end weight intact.

Roasted Maple Fingerboard Defines This Neck Configuration

The roasted maple neck uses Reverend's Medium Oval profile and a 25.5" scale, giving the Kingbolt Air HH familiar proportions across chords, bends and lead work. This version pairs the neck with a roasted maple fingerboard, 12" radius and 22 frets, plus a 43 mm Boneite nut. Headstock-access dual-action truss-rod adjustment keeps setup straightforward, while Reverend Pin-Lock tuners secure the strings at the headstock.

Wilkinson Tremolo Expands the Expressive Range

The Wilkinson WVS50 IIK tremolo gives the Kingbolt Air HH room for subtle shimmer, chord movement and deeper pitch travel without changing the guitar's otherwise straightforward control layout. Pin-Lock tuners and the Boneite nut complete the string path, and the full-length center block provides a substantial foundation beneath the bridge and pickups. The hardware adds another expressive layer to the Air design while keeping the instrument ready for familiar electric-guitar technique.

A Semi-Hollow Kingbolt With a Wider Working Range

The Kingbolt Air HH combines compact semi-hollow construction, dual Steelhead humbuckers and Wilkinson vibrato in a versatile working guitar. Passive Bass Contour adds tonal flexibility, while the roasted maple neck and Pin-Lock tuners round out its practical hardware package. Bring semi-hollow depth, flexible humbucker voicing and expressive vibrato to stage and studio work with the Reverend Kingbolt Air HH semi-hollow electric guitar.
