Five-string versatility takes a different approach with three pickups and a straightforward five-way selector at the heart of the Triad 5 bass. The Reverend Triad 5 5-string electric bass pairs a solid korina body with a 34" five-piece maple/walnut neck, rosewood fingerboard and high-mass bridge. Three Reverend Jazz Bomb pickups occupy the neck, middle and bridge positions, offering five selectable pickup combinations with passive volume and tone controls. For bassists seeking extended range and a versatile pickup configuration without complicated electronics, the Triad 5 brings both together in a streamlined design.

Korina Construction Provides a Solid Five-String Foundation

The solid korina body provides the foundation for the Triad 5, paired with a five-piece maple/walnut neck and full 34" scale. This construction supports a traditional long-scale playing experience while accommodating the additional low string. A high-mass bridge offers both string-through-body and top-load stringing options, giving players flexibility in how they set up the instrument.

Three Jazz Bomb Pickups Offer Five Selectable Voices

Three Reverend Jazz Bomb pickups occupy the neck, middle and bridge positions, expanding the tonal options beyond a conventional two-pickup bass. Their hum-free steel rail design helps minimize unwanted noise, while the five-way selector provides five distinct pickup combinations. Master volume and tone controls complete the passive electronics, making it easy to move between pickup settings and shape the overall sound.

Five-Piece Neck Delivers Familiar Long-Scale Playability

The five-piece maple/walnut neck features Reverend's Medium Oval profile and a 34" scale length. A rosewood fingerboard with a 12" radius and 21 frets provides a consistent playing surface, while the 47 mm Boneite nut accommodates the five-string configuration. A dual-action truss rod with headstock adjustment allows convenient neck relief adjustments during setup.

High-Mass Bridge and Hipshot Ultralight Tuners

The high-mass bridge supports string-through-body or top-load stringing with 3/4" string spacing. Hipshot Ultralight tuners help minimize weight at the headstock, complementing the five-string configuration without adding unnecessary bulk. Together, these hardware appointments provide practical stringing options and reliable tuning adjustment.

Extended Range With Straightforward Passive Control

The Triad 5 combines an extended five-string range with a three-pickup design that remains straightforward to operate. Its 34" scale, five-piece neck and rosewood fingerboard establish a familiar playing platform, while block inlays and a chrome control plate distinguish its appearance. From low-register accompaniment to more varied pickup combinations, the Reverend Triad 5 5-string electric bass delivers expanded range without complicating the playing experience.
