Hydro-dip attitude with fast C-1 performance.

Swirling color gives the Schecter C-1 Hydro-Dip an unmistakable identity, but the appeal extends well beyond the finish. This striking electric guitar pairs its hydro-dip treatment with the familiar C-1 body shape, carved mahogany construction and a Thin C maple neck built for fast, comfortable movement across the fingerboard. Schecter Radio Active humbuckers provide the dual-humbucker foundation, while a 24-fret Richlite fingerboard and string-thru Tune-O-Matic bridge round out a platform suited to modern rock and metal playing. Available in multiple distinctive finishes, the C-1 Hydro-Dip combines distinctive visuals with the focused layout and playability of Schecter's C-1 design.

Carved Mahogany Body With Hydro-Dip Style

The mahogany body gives the C-1 Hydro-Dip a substantial foundation, while the carved top adds dimension to the familiar C-1 outline. The hydro-dip swirl finish is the visual signature, creating an individual pattern across the body and setting the guitar apart from conventional solid-color and burst finishes. Satin black hardware and black neck binding frame the design with a darker edge, allowing the colorways to remain the focal point.

Radio Active Humbuckers for Modern Gain

A pair of Schecter Radio Active humbuckers gives the C-1 Hydro-Dip an HH pickup configuration suited to high-gain playing. The bridge and neck positions provide contrasting voices for moving between rhythm and lead parts, while the combined setting adds another option for shaping the guitar's response. A master volume, master tone and 3-way toggle keep the control layout straightforward, allowing quick pickup changes without additional switching or controls.

Thin C Maple Neck and Richlite Fingerboard

The rock maple bolt-on neck pairs Schecter's Thin C profile with a 25.5" scale for a streamlined playing platform. The profile measures 20 mm at the 1st fret and 22 mm at the 12th fret, while a Richlite fingerboard with a 14" radius and 24 jumbo frets provides room for bends, quick position shifts and upper-register lead work. Metal offset ring inlays and a Hydro inlay at the 12th fret extend the guitar's distinctive visual treatment onto the fingerboard.

String-Thru Tune-O-Matic Hardware

A Tune-O-Matic bridge and string-thru-body construction provide a fixed-bridge setup with individual intonation adjustment and a direct string path through the body. At the headstock, a 42 mm Graph Tech Black TUSQ XL nut is paired with Schecter tuners, while D'Addario Regular Light NYXL .010–.046 strings complete the factory setup. For transport and storage, the Schecter SGR-1C premium molded hardshell case is available separately.

Distinctive Looks on a Familiar C-1 Platform

The C-1 Hydro-Dip balances its unconventional finish with a straightforward performance platform: dual humbuckers, a fast Thin C neck, 24-fret range and fixed-bridge construction. That combination makes it a natural fit for rock and metal guitarists who want a visually distinctive instrument without sacrificing the familiar feel and functionality of the C-1 design. Bringing those elements together, the Schecter C-1 Hydro-Dip electric guitar offers a bold take on a proven platform for modern rock and metal.
