A 7-string electric guitar with exceptional tone-shaping control.

The Schecter KM-7 MK-III Artist electric guitar brings together exceptional design and premium components to satisfy the exacting standards of Keith Merrow. Its resonant swamp ash body and stunning poplar burl top generate a dynamic voice. Outfitted with custom-voiced Lundgren M7 humbucking pickups, the KM-7 MK-III rewards you with outstanding clarity and authoritative punch. Their passive design eliminates battery hassles while providing the richness of active pickups alongside the nuance of passives. Playing the KM-7 MK-III proves fast and fluid thanks to its extra-thin C neck profile and 26.5" extended scale length. With rock-solid intonation from the Hipshot bridge and tuners, you can rely on this 7-string guitar to hold tune and excel both on stage and in the studio.

Resonant Tone from Swamp Ash Body and Poplar Burl Top

Constructed with a swamp ash body and exquisite poplar burl top, the KM-7 MK-III sings with resonance and projection. Its lightweight swamp ash generates enhanced vibration and responsiveness while the decorative burl top lends visual flair. Together they produce lively acoustic tone that complements the KM-7 MK-III's magnetic pickups. The thin C neck profile combined with the contoured rear for a comfortably fast playing feel whether seated or standing.

Comfortable Neck-Through Design

Its neck-through design provides outstanding sustain and makes upper fret access effortless. The 9-piece maple, wenge and purpleheart neck feels fast and smooth. A compound radius fingerboard lets you blaze through leads with ease. The ergonomic neck shape and 26.5" scale length create a comfortable 7-string feel.

Dial In Your Sound

This signature model puts exceptional tonal control at your fingertips. Master volume, pickup toggle and coil-split allow you to go from searing leads to rhythm crunch with a twist of a knob. Sculpt your sound with the precision of a surgeon. The KM-7 MK-III empowers you to craft your signature tone.

Built for Rock-Solid Intonation

It's equipped with a Hipshot bridge and locking tuners engineered for excellent intonation, tuning stability and sustain. The luminlay side dots make it easy to see on dim stages. Take your 7-string playing to new heights with the Schecter KM-7 MK-III.
