Excellent product
Ordered for student plays. Very pleased bwith tone and quality.
Good mouthpiece
For my French Horn.
Nice mouthpiece, but . . .
Great rim! Allows for secure attacks and endurance. Will take some getting used to because if its -17mm diameter.
Excellent mouthpiece
The larger bore and cup size have helped restore confidence in the lower range as I expected plus a deeper, fuller sound. It has taken a few days to adjust to playing with the new dimensions. As I read before the higher range is a bit more challenging. I am greatly enjoying the experience. I am an amateur 66 year old playing in my church orchestra and a local community orchestra.
Superb beginner mouthpiece
This is a very easy blowing mouthpiece for beginners. I have found it better than other mouthpieces for holding a steady note and blowing long tones. It is particularly good for people with thin lips.
I would buy this item again.
I am enjoying using this smaller diameter shallow cup mouthpiece. Great for descant horn parts.
It's the perfect fit for my performance needs.
This Farkas model which I discovered by accident is now going to be my main mouthpiece because of it's overall response and free blowing quality. I can play the full range of the instrument with little effort and with great control, especially in the extreme (upper and lower) registers. It's the perfect fit for me as a pro.
Love it!
This mouthpieces feels great and improved my range.
Schilke 30 - Excellent Upgrade!
Through much of my college career, I've played on the Conn 7BW mouthpiece (the middle school mouthpiece as we joke in horn studio). I just got the Schilke 30 for Christmas, and holy cow. What a difference. I get much better sound and tone in all registers, especially low. Additionally, I think it helps me to be more secure in the high range. A good buy for someone looking to upgrade from a standard mouthpiece!
