A truly unique voice, the 326ce is the latest Grand Symphony model to feature Taylor's groundbreaking soundport cutaway. Compared to the Taylor Grand Auditorium, the Grand Symphony has a bigger, rounder lower bout and slightly wider "waist" area. The body is fashioned of urban ash, a tonewood with similar density and tonal characteristics to that of old-growth Honduran mahogany.
Urban ash is another example of Taylor's commitment to ethically sourcing materials to ensure that trees will be around for generations to come. At the heart of the sound is a mahogany top with Taylor's V-Class bracing; a Taylor innovation that has improved the flexibility of the top, creating an increase in volume, sustain and notes that are more in-tune with each other. Other features include satin black tuners, three-ring rosette, gemstone inlays and ES2 electronics. This instrument ships in a deluxe Taylor hardshell case.
