Multi-function reverb pedal with endless creative potential.
The Walrus Audio Mako Series R1 High-Fidelity Reverb MKII is a versatile reverb guitar effects pedal that spans from subtle room ambiance to lush, experimental soundscapes. With six unique reverb programs built from the ground up, the R1 MKII offers players the tools to explore a wide range of reverbs, from classic spring and hall to immersive ambient effects. The newly enhanced ducking/swelling feature and size control give you even more tonal possibilities, while onboard presets and MIDI support provide seamless control for live and studio use.

Six Reverb Programs Built for Exploration

The R1 includes six reverb programs: Spring, Hall, Plate, BFR, Refract and Air. Whether you want the vintage drip of a spring reverb or the expansive atmosphere of a hall or shimmer reverb, the R1 has you covered. Its new ducking/swelling feature and size control allow for tailored reverb behavior, giving you the ability to maintain a clear mix or create massive ambient washes.

Enhanced Design for Professional Performance

In addition to its six reverb programs, the R1 features revamped algorithms for even greater tonal depth and flexibility. The diffuse control allows for precise sound sculpting, ensuring your reverb sits perfectly in the mix. With up to 128 preset slots, the R1 MKII is designed to fit seamlessly into any rig, giving you the ability to recall your favorite sounds instantly via MIDI or onboard controls.

Total Control Over Reverb Parameters

With the R1 MKII’s intuitive interface, controlling parameters like feedback EQ, room size and diffusion is simple. Whether you’re dialing in a subtle reverb for rhythm parts or a massive, swirling wash for ambient leads, the R1 offers precise control over every aspect of your reverb sound. The feedback EQ gives you additional tone-shaping capabilities, ensuring that your reverb sits just right in any mix.

Built for Performance and Creativity

From small, intimate room settings to cavernous, experimental reverbs, the R1 MKII was built for players who love to explore sonic textures. Its expanded features, such as the diffuse control and dynamic ducking/swelling, ensure that this pedal is just as powerful in a live setting as it is in the studio.
