My horns are lacquered but I bought this polishing cloth for my silver plated mouthpieces. Works great. Use the inner cloth to remove tarnish and the outer cloth to shine. Much more convenient than liquid tarnish removers and polishes.

Works quite well at removing even a lot of tarnish. Horn looks very good now.

I use this to clean my silver clarinet keys and it works amazingly! Easy to store and put away as well.

Great - dry side use for wiping off hand oils, water key slobber. Paranoid me - not sure how often I'll use the polish side on my brand new horn, but nice to have there for older silver horns I own starting to take on tarnish.

Been playing a while, not a pro. I have a silver trumpet that has been hard to keep clean. I like this cloth immensely. It has two sides (easy to understand when you hold this cloth), the inner side has polish on it and the outer side is for buffing. Easy to use and definitely worth it. Some of the other cloths I've used require two cloths, this has both!. One hint; I got rid of the small bag the cloth comes in and I use a quart size zipper bag so I don't have to keep folding the cloth to fit the original small bag.

This cloth is really two clothes sewn together. The outer cloth is designed to clean off dirt/oil/particulates from the horn. The softer inner cloth polishes it to a bright mirror shine. It endures mileage well and will last.
