Perfect trombone mouthpiece
6-1/2 AL
The deep cup provides a solid, mellow tone without harshness, full bodied and with good intonation. But it does require solid lip strength and endurance. High notes take some extra coaxing.

Great Gift for a Baritone Player
I bought this as an anniversary gift for my boyfriend who plays Euphonium and Baritone. We met in wind symphony my first year in college, and became fast friends. I thought he must have just seen me as that friendly but timid guy who plays clarinet. Skip forward to a couple years later and we confessed to each other; it's been an incredible time ever since full of lovely duets and plenty of baking together listening to symphonies. He loves this mouthpiece (and I think for more than just because his boyfriend bought it for him), and I think it makes him sound amazing. His tone is much clearer and sound more open on this mouthpiece than on the mouthpiece that came with his horn. I did some research about this mouthpiece and what I already knew about his playing style and preferences specifically, but in general this is a high quality mouthpiece that could allow any player to succeed!
Would purchase again.

Great beginning/intermediate mouthpiece
I play a 1963 Conn Director tenor trombone. This seems like a really good all around mouthpiece for all styles.
