Vintage Materials for Legendary Tone

The Inspired by Gibson Custom 1959 Les Paul Standard's mahogany and maple construction gives you resonant tone with singing sustain. The carved maple top adds articulation, while the mahogany body provides richness and depth. Together, they create the balanced warmth for which vintage Les Pauls are renowned. The long neck tenon also enhances sustain and resonance.

Built for Playability and Style

While the Inspired by Gibson Custom 1959 Les Paul Standard has vintage aesthetics, its neck design ensures modern playability. The rounded 1959 neck profile feels full in your hand while remaining comfortable for chording and single-note riffs. 22 medium-jumbo frets provide ample space for expressive playing. A 12" fingerboard radius strikes a balance between chording and string bending. Whether you want to recreate classic rock tones or forge new sounds, this guitar's balance of vintage and contemporary makes it an inspiring instrument for serious musicians.

Premium Components for Classic Tone

Under the hood, premium parts give this Les Paul its legendary sound. The Gibson Custombucker humbucking pickups provide the warm, crunchy tone synonymous with Les Pauls. CTS potentiometers let you dial in the perfect volume and tone, while Mallory capacitors maintain authentic vintage tone. '50s-style wiring produces a sweeter high end and enhanced clarity. Together, these components shape a sound that defined rock music.

High-End Features Honor Vintage Styling

From its aged gloss nitrocellulose finish to the non-beveled pickguard, every detail of the 1959 Les Paul Standard is designed to capture the look of late-'50s Les Pauls. Vintage-style tuners, control knobs and a Switchcraft selector switch complete the premium look. With a vintage-style hardshell case included, you'll protect your investment while carrying a piece of history.
