Too big for a 1/2 size violin

Excellent and comfortable shoulder rest at a great price!
Another review said that the width of this shoulder rest isn't adjustable but, you simply unscrew the feet all the way and move it to one of the other holes. This resthas softer padding than a Kun, making it my preferred choice! The 3/4-4/4 size fits most 1/2 instruments, so I suggest sizing up.

I teach a Junior High Orchestra. This has become my go-to shoulder rest for all of my students. They are very comfortable, ergonomic, and easily adjustable. The only problem we have is that the feet break off if the students twist them too much. They do sell replacements now, thankfully. A slight design change might make that unnecessary, though.
This rest keeps coming off my violin.

Perfectly good shoulder rest, but I thought I was buying a children's half size shoulder rest, based on the option I chose. It's way too big for a half size violin even after adjusting. Should be described more clearly so that you can tell what size violin you're ordering for!

The reason I gave it 2 stars is because it's a very nice-quality shoulder rest. However, it states that it is for a 1/2 to 3/4 violin. I've played the violin for more than 30 years, and my own shoulder rest is a Kun. If this rest would be adjustable in width like a Kun, it would fit. However, it's only adjustable by height, not width, and it does not fit my daughter's 1/2 size violin. (Her violin lists the size inside as 1/2.) I've ordered a new shoulder rest that says it is for a 1/4 to 1/2 size violin. I hope it fits.

Fair price, good product! Doesn't fold down, so it may not fit in some smaller cases.
