I used this Gonzalez for the first time playing a jazz ballad in concert.... sounded great!

I have been playing saxophone for over forty years and have used practically every brand of reed during that time. Gonzalez reeds are the best I've ever used. They help produce a full, rich sound and they are a very smooth playing reed. The fact that they come in one-quarter strength gradients makes it easy to find the correct reed for you that plays great right of out the box without having to break them in. I have had many of my fellow saxophone playing friends try them and they all find them to be very responsive and consistent. Other than practice, this is one way to become a better sounding player almost overnight!
