This great-sounding version for big band maintains the medium swing feel and "Monk-ism" from the original, but adds Mark Taylor's own stamp of originality with crafty ensemble lines, rhythmic twists, and some powerful full band statements in mixed meters. Solos are included for tenor, trumpet and drums, along with marvelous writing for the entire band.
