4-ply walnut snare drum features punchy tone and thin, resonant shell

Walnut drums are especially coveted by jazz and fusion drummers as a softer, punchier wood with deep tone, and Hendrix Drums has met that demand with this Perfect Ply walnut snare drum. The 5 mm thin black walnut shell delivers distinctive punchy sound that helps the drum sing at low volumes, while harder maple reinforcement rings make the snare rigid enough for rock music as well, delivering a nice throaty crack when you lay into it.
