The Hosa Pro-Conex Little Cat Breakout Snake RJ45 to 4 XLRF gives engineers, installers and live sound users a compact way to send four channels of balanced analog audio or AES3 over shielded CAT5e, CAT6 or CAT7 cable. This XLR female version is designed to accept signals from microphones, instruments or direct boxes, then route them through a locking RJ45 connector over lightweight, field-replaceable network cable. Because the Little Cat operates passively in the analog domain, there is no digital conversion, latency, external power supply or batteries required.
