I was looking for a decent acoustic guitar that I could easily travel with and use around the apartment. I had an Ibanez Acoustic-Electric that fell apart (the electronics fell through the body, cracked the bridge, warped neck) after ten years of owning it (most likely due to the extreme temperature changes and lack of thermostat control). I had the pleasure of trying a Little Martin out a few times within the past 8 years or so, so I decided to go ahead and purchase one. It has a wonderful sound, easy to travel with and takes up less space than my other guitar. The head and neck are a bit heavy for the light body of the Martin but that is only a minor detail for me.
