Revered conductor Charlene Archibeque has taken this English folk song and given it some sprightly twists. Although set primarily in 5/4, it bounces in two as the love story unfolds. The result is a song both ancient and new with a merry tale ending in wedded bliss. Great for high school and college choirs.
