4 years of Marching Band approved.

I have used 4 Neotech neckstraps in my 4 years of high school marching band tenor sax. It also works great anywhere whether it be small jazz combo or wind ensemble. My first Neotech was used through my entire freshmen marching season plus wind ensemble and band camp of my sophmore year before I had ...

very popular but not sure I like it

I see alot of young high school players with the strap, I tried one based on the comfort folks rave about.. I thought it was the most comfortable strap around and it may be. however I did not like the bounce. I never feel like the horn is presented in a consistent manner and I was always adjusting...

The strap, hook and catch are fine. The foam pad is not covered with synthetic leather to smooth the surface. It is fairly comfortable, but can get sweaty. I like the strap overall because I do not have to wear a collared shirt to cushion my other strap which has no padding.

Ive been using the same neck strap for 9 years, this neck stap has never feel apart showed any signs of wear, and has been very comfortable over the years. Ive played this on stage, marching band, and at events and has never failed me. The comfort level is just a big wow for me it doesnt feel to bad during the hot days, but it does feel good on the cold days.

My son found this neck strap to be the best support for his tenor sax. The padding stays consistent. He prefers the clip not open end. The open end is fine too.

We appreciate WWBW. My only criticism of the neckstrap I ordered, with covered metal hook, is the photo shows a different attachment. This is an open hook which makes me afraid of dropping my tenor. But it works fine and I like the Neotech products.

Good strap for low price

The "regular" is just long enough for my tenor sax, but I like that I can switch to the alto without changing straps. So far it seems to hold in place without slipping, and is easy to adjust. It is also very comfortable on the neck.

I use this for my tenor saxophone. It fits me when I adjust the neck strap to the lowest setting, but for others it may be necessary to buy the longer version.

Regular too short; XL too long. How about a plain old "L"?

After the aches and pains of extended stand-up tenor sax playing at the end of a cheap strap, I bought the Neotech regular black swivel hook model. Unfortunately, when fully extended, this strap is still slightly too short -- a real surprise as the uncomfortable original provides ample adjustment. It seemed odd, so I blamed myself and reordered the same brand strap, but in XL. It's better, but... it is sufficiently long that adjusting it to correctly position the mouthpiece makes it nearly too small to pull over my head. The adjustment itself is purely by friction and requires a relatively heavy hand; it's not one of those "pinch 'n' slide" clasps. So, would recommend to a friend with caveats. The price and comfort are definite positives. If you can set up the length once and not have to tweak it every time you play, so much the better. Otherwise, you might regret the purchase and spring (or wish) for something better.

Second time around...

I still have my last Neotech soft sax strap, and it is still in good condition after about 15 years of use. While I did not need to buy another, I was concerned that the trigger-latch swivel hook might not still be available or might be phased out, so I bought a new one. The neck pad on this strap is a very nice cushion pad, and it is easy to adjust the strap for changing the length. The closed hook keeps the instrument secured.
