Coated Emperor heads are warmer and more durable than Clear Emperors. They're also made with two free-floating plies of 7-mil Mylar film, which gives consistent open, warm tones, which accounts for the popularity of Emperor drum heads among many of today's studio, pop, R&B and rock drummers.

The fusion packs include Remo Emperor Coated or Emperor Clear replacement drum heads for 10", 12" and 14" toms. The standard packs include Remo Emperor Coated or Emperor Clear drum heads for 12", 13" and 16" toms.
