Semi-hollow depth with fixed-bridge focus

Reverend's Air construction brings semi-hollow resonance to the compact Charger platform while retaining the familiar feel of a fixed-bridge electric guitar. The Reverend Charger Air HH semi-hollow electric guitar pairs a routed mahogany body and full-length center block with a solid spruce top, 25.5" roasted maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, dual Steelhead humbuckers, passive Bass Contour and a string-through bridge with solid aluminum ferrule block. For players who want the warmth and response of a semi-hollow with the direct feel of a fixed-bridge electric, the Charger Air HH keeps the format compact, versatile and easy to manage onstage or in the studio.

Mahogany and Spruce Shape the Air Construction

Reverend starts with a solid slab of mahogany, routes the body around a full-length center block and caps it with solid spruce. The full-length center block provides a solid foundation beneath the bridge and pickups, while the surrounding semi-hollow chambers add resonance and a more responsive feel. The result keeps the Charger footprint compact while giving the semi-hollow construction a clear role in the instrument's response.

Steelhead Humbuckers Keep the Controls Familiar

Steelhead humbuckers occupy the bridge and neck positions with oversized steel poles and the punch, clarity and dynamic response Reverend specifies for the design. A three-way selector handles the familiar bridge, combined and neck settings, while the passive Bass Contour rolls off low frequencies before the signal leaves the guitar. Backing it down can tighten the humbuckers and move them toward a leaner, more single-coil-like response; fuller settings retain more of their natural weight.

Rosewood Fingerboard Complements the Roasted Maple Neck

The roasted maple neck uses Reverend's Medium Oval profile across a full 25.5" scale, giving the Charger Air HH familiar electric-guitar proportions for rhythm and lead work. This configuration pairs that neck with a rosewood fingerboard, 12" radius and 22 frets, along with a 43 mm Boneite nut. A dual-action truss rod adjusts from the headstock, keeping routine setup changes within easy reach.

String-Through Bridge Anchors the Fixed-Bridge Design

The fixed bridge anchors the strings through a solid aluminum ferrule block, establishing a direct string path through the center-block body. Reverend Pin-Lock tuners secure the strings at the headstock, while the Boneite nut is designed to reduce friction through the slots. Together, the hardware keeps the semi-hollow design centered on stable, repeatable setup and direct control.

A Compact Semi-Hollow Built for Regular Use

The Charger Air HH combines semi-hollow resonance with the familiar feel and control of a fixed-bridge electric guitar. Steelhead humbuckers and passive Bass Contour cover a range of pickup voices, while the Shooting Star f-holes give the compact Air body its distinctive appearance. Bring compact semi-hollow response and fixed-bridge confidence to rehearsals, sessions and live work with the Reverend Charger Air HH semi-hollow electric guitar.
