Classic tone from the first strum thanks to special, pre-aged "thermal" top.

The Takamine EF360SC-TT acoustic-electric guitar blends vintage-inspired tone with modern stage-ready performance in a refined dreadnought cutaway design. Built with Takamine’s Solid Thermal Top technology, the guitar is designed to deliver the open, responsive character players often associate with a well-played vintage acoustic while retaining the reliability and consistency of a modern instrument. Its solid thermal Sitka spruce top pairs with solid rosewood back and rosewood sides for a balanced voice with strong projection, clear articulation and rich harmonic detail. A mahogany neck and slim-playing profile provide a comfortable feel for extended sessions, while Takamine’s CT4B II electronics system supports dependable plugged-in performance for live musicians. Finished in gloss natural and paired with a semi-hardshell case, EF360SC-TTis built for players who need professional acoustic tone both onstage and off.

Solid Thermal Sitka Spruce Top Construction

At the center of the EF360SC-TT is Takamine’s Solid Thermal Top technology, which treats the solid Sitka spruce top to help recreate some of the resonance and responsiveness associated with aged acoustic guitars. Combined with solid rosewood back and rosewood sides, the dreadnought body produces strong low-end projection, articulate mids and detailed high frequencies suited for both rhythm accompaniment and lead-focused acoustic playing. The cutaway body design also improves upper-fret access, giving players greater freedom when performing melodic passages or more technically demanding arrangements.

Mahogany Neck With Comfortable Modern Feel

The EF360SC-TT pairs its traditional tonewood construction with a neck profile designed for modern playability. Its mahogany neck provides stability and familiar acoustic response, while the rosewood fingerboard adds warmth and smooth feel under the hand. A 42.5 mm nut width and 644 mm scale length create a comfortable balance between string spacing and playing tension, making the guitar well suited for strumming, fingerstyle work and live performance applications. The slimmer neck feel also supports easier movement across the fingerboard without sacrificing the substantial feel many players expect from a dreadnought acoustic-electric guitar.

CT4B II Electronics for Stage Performance

Equipped with Takamine’s CT4B II electronics system, the EF360SC-TT is designed to transition smoothly from acoustic practice sessions to amplified live performance. The onboard preamp system delivers dependable plugged-in operation for stage and studio applications while preserving the guitar’s natural tonal character. Whether running directly into a PA system, acoustic amplifier or recording setup, the electronics package gives performers a reliable platform for rehearsals, live gigs and professional acoustic environments. Combined with the guitar’s balanced dreadnought voice, the system supports both solo performers and full-band arrangements.

Takamine Craftsmanship for Working Musicians

Takamine has long been associated with professional acoustic-electric guitars trusted by touring musicians, singer-songwriters and stage performers who require dependable amplified tone and comfortable playability. The EF360SC-TT continues that tradition through its combination of thermal-treated tonewoods, modern neck feel and integrated electronics system. With its solid thermal Sitka spruce top, solid rosewood construction, CT4B II electronics and included semi-hardshell case, the Takamine EF360SC-TT acoustic-electric guitar delivers vintage-inspired acoustic response and stage-ready performance in a professional dreadnought cutaway design.
