Faithfully recreating the celebrated T1511 Blackback of the 1970s, the Celestion Heritage G12M-55 Blackback 12" guitar speaker brings one of the most distinctive variations of the classic G12M Greenback back to life. Drawing from Celestion's original blueprints, sketches and parts lists, its 55Hz bass cone delivers a warmer, fuller low-end character while retaining the punch, sparkle and expressive midrange that made the original a favorite of players such as Free's Paul Kossoff. A 35 oz ceramic magnet and classic 25W power rating give the G12M-55 the lively response and rich speaker breakup associated with vintage Blackbacks, with singing sustain that comes alive as the speaker is pushed. Rated at 96dB sensitivity with a 55Hz–5kHz frequency range and available in 8- and 16-ohm versions, the Heritage G12M-55 offers an authentic route to the sweet, harmonically rich character of a coveted '70s Celestion.
