Awesome strings for downtuning!
I just bought these strings on the recommendation of my best friend. I have played Skinny Top/Heavy Bottoms before this, but these are even better. I down tuned to B, and they still retain their tension. Awesome tone and they sound great in Standard as well. Extremely versatile and cheap! I definitely recommend them to anyone.

I had been jumping around from different heavy string sets, Dean Markley, Fender, and at one point Gibson Flat-Wounds. I read a new products page in a guitar magazine and saw that Ernie Ball had released a 12-56 set. Before having gone up to heavy strings, I used mainly Ernie Balls, but their heaviest set up until now was never heavy enough for me. So I decided to try the things out. Wow! They have great volume, a nice crisp tone, not too "fuzzy" considering the size, and were perfect for SRV-esque bends. By far, the best set of strings I have ever owned.

I used to use rotosound strings on my Dean ML I have switched to the Ernie Ball not even slinky and the tone is just awesome.
