Bamboo wood with a foam core yields a softer attack with durability.
Using the same dowels as the Standard series multi-rod, the MEINL Rebound Multi-Rod is constructed from bamboo wood. What's unique to the Rebound rods is that the center dowels have been swapped for a foam core. This gives the bamboo rods a different feel and response from traditional multi-rods. Surrounded by eleven bamboo dowels, the multi-rod is durable and has a softer attack. The Rebound rods have a greater response with more bounce on drums and a lighter touch on cymbals.
