This is a Pirastro Chorda Series D string for viola and comes in your choice of one of three gauges. Chorda is a plain gut string that is authentic for baroque instruments. Per 1/4 PM the tension alters by 3%. It is a quickly tuned plain gut string. They offer the typical warm and soft sound of traditional gut strings; great ease of vibrato.
