Their new EP is a sequel to the band's 2011 release Hand Us The Alpha Male, specifically it's opener Summon the arsonists. The band describes the EP as a salutation to their year-long followers. Blood Command's 2017 album Cult Drugs got rave reviews in relevant European punk and metal press like Metal Hammer (9/10), Rush on Rock (10/10), Ox Magazine (9/10) and Already Heard (5/5). Rock Sound gave the album 8/10 and described it as "One of this world's best kept secrets" before following up with a panegyric feature that straight out stated: This is why Blood Command is such a special band.
